www.streetgangs.com On July 22, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck announce the capture of Mark Reed, California’s most wanted parolee wanted for murder in Dekalb County, Georgia. Community members recognized him from being listed on California’s most wanted parolees list, and a tip led to detective Venus Mason of the Los Angeles Police Department. Reed was taken into custody on July 10, 2010. Also present was Council members Bernard Parks and Herb Wesson. Captain Zipperman from the LAPD was also present.
